Continued…We reached Kasol after the very tiring and yet beautiful journey.

When I was going to Kasol, I had this picture that it will be a foggy mist place where I will feel the fragrance of the green leaves and moist. But, when I landed it was not like this, you will see a very commercialized town that is surrounded by the mountains, instead of mountain fragrance you can smell bakery products, as you walk down the lane you will see a lot of cafes, street food stall and much more.

The hotel we stayed in was a bit far, basically a bit of a trek, so we had almost 10 to 15 minutes walk.

The hotel was absolutely amazing; the view and the accommodation amenities were justifying the prices, except for breakfast.

That’s what it looks like from the outside.
Room

The rooms were totally furnished, but they didn’t have the proper fan there reason being it is cold there at night, but in the afternoon when we reached there, it was pretty hot. Also, we went in the month of June so yeah the weather in the afternoon was not so cold.

We were tired so we had some food and took rest.

Since we were staying in Kasol so the nearest place was Chalal it is about 40–45 minutes trek, the amazing thing about this trek is that it is just beside the Parvati river which roars 24*7.

We heard a lot about the famous Hash Brownie and Freedom Cafe there so we decided to go to Chalal , we also explored the Kasol market. The market consists of bakeries, good cafes, Momos and Rolls joints, and a lot of hippie clothing and we just stop by for few minutes and admiring the river view.

We stopped at one place and had chicken momos.

P.S. I don’t know if the food in the mountains tastes so delicious or it is just me who was lost in mountain vibes.
We started the Chalal journey a bit late, so we reached there late, but the short trek in the night was just hell amazing, we were walking beside the Parvati river, and some cafes were all shining with the lights.

We reached Chalal; we didn’t stay long because it was already late, so we bought our Hash Brownies and started our way back to Kasol. It almost took 1 to 1.5 hours for one way.
We reached our cottage almost around 10 pm. It was my birthday eve so yeah we celebrated my birthday.

I went with the best people they decorated the cottage, and they arranged the cake, it was absolutely amazing.

I had the best birthday in the mountains with the best people. We ate, enjoyed, and slept. We had to leave for the Kheerganga trek.
Stay tuned for the next blog. I hope you enjoyed this one.
