To be continued.. Last night we had a very tiring night, we slept at 2 a.m.

We were tired as hell, I almost had thought not to go on trek but then I realized I cannot miss the chance.

I woke up and the first thing I saw was the serene view from our window, it was so satisfying that I just couldn’t take my eyes off.

It was all moist and dull there, I could smell wet grass and sand, the chirping of the birds, and the drizzling of the rain was like the humming sound that I would want to hear for my entire life. In a nutshell, the view and the aura were consuming me.

We had our breakfast and tea, which was okayish, I was very disappointed with the breakfast food, so we decided to have some good breakfast outside of the cottage.

We checked out from our cottage

While we were going to the assemble point we just witnessed some of the best views.

-How we started the trek- Assemble Point, Fare, Guide, and Stay.

So if you want to do the Kheerganga trek do keep the below points in mind:

  • Assemble point is Barshaini we took the private taxi and which cost was Rs. 900 for 4 people. Distance from Kasol to Barshaini is around 1 hour
  • We booked the package of Rs. 1000 per head which included Guide, Stay at the camp, 2 times meals (Dinner and Breakfast)

-Necessary things to pack for the trek

  • Always wear the sports/trekking shoes.
  • Carry a bottle of Glucose or Electral to keep yourself hydrated
  • Torch, Power Bank, Tissues, Water Bottle, warm jacket and trouser and other winter related stuff, Rain Coat.
  • Wet Tissues, hand wash, most importantly CASH always carry cash because you will not find networks while trekking.

We started our trek and it was hell 7 hrs walking for one side, in between we stopped at many food joints and where we had a bit of photo session.

After a lot of tiring 7 hrs walk we reached to the point, the calmness and the silence was just throbbing into the heart. The golden hour was at the peak.

At one spot I felt like I am in Switzerland. I am glad that I decided to go on a trek, otherwise I would have never witnessed the hidden beauty of the nature.

The camps we were staying at was okay, I wouldn’t say that they were the good, because they had no light in the camp we literally had to turn on the torch and the most bad part was there was no washroom attached, we literally had to go out at 2 am to pee in the chilled night.

But the view from the camp was helping us to maintain the boiling temperature of our bloods.

So before booking I would recommend you to ask for the camp pictures and take full information.

After waking up from a tired sleep we decided to leave soon, because we had to go to Manali on the same day.

So we had poha in the breakfast and we started our journey to back to the Kasol.

This trek was hell of an amazing experience, it was my first trek of life and I won’t say it was easy but after reaching at the top point, I realized it was worthy.

Hope you have enjoyed the previous blog and this one too, wait for the last one!
